The Forest Suite
A master bedroom and ensuite, reworked in a renovation built around one idea: rest comes easier in a room that feels a world away.
The clients wanted the feeling of a boutique hotel without its formality. Somewhere warm, deeply coloured, and close to nature. The answer begins on the wall behind the bed: a scenic forest mural wallpaper in soft sepia and olive, wrapping the room in trees and far-off mountains. A walnut four-poster sits against it lightly, framing the view rather than blocking it. Linen bedding, brushed brass lamps and textured plaster keep everything calm enough to sleep in.
The ensuite turns the volume up. Walls in deep burgundy plaster, a marble vanity on walnut, brushed brass, and a round mirror to soften it all. Rich enough to feel indulgent, restrained enough to feel at home.
